
January 10, 2025 [Madison, Wisconsin]: Madison Lake Capital, a Madison (Wisconsin)- based private equity firm, has acquired Milwaukee Cylinder (“MC” or the “Company”), a Milwaukee (Wisconsin)- based industrial fluid-power products company with a 65-plus-year history and international sales presence. The financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.
With over 26,000 custom designs and an apt tagline of “Specials are our Standard,” Milwaukee Cylinder is a well-recognized brand used by top equipment manufacturers in almost all industries. MC offers robust designs driven by unique features, tight tolerances, and manufacturing craftsmanship, resulting in products that offer long life in the most difficult environments -from construction to Space exploration, to mention a few.
Milwaukee Cylinder will be Madison Lake Capital’s first acquisition under its new Industrial Fluid Power Products platform. Douglas Lacina, the Company’s current CEO, will continue in his position and continue leveraging his 20+ years of experience in the sector to take the Company to new heights.
